Cisco 2500 Series Router Memory
The Cisco 2500 series of ethernet and token ring routers provide
an incredible array of small-to-medium size business solutions, including integrated router/hub and
router/access server models. All Cisco 2500 routers ship with a minimum of 4 MB of
Flash memory. Cisco 2500 series routers accommodates two types of DRAM; primary and shared (packet)
memory. Primary memory's function is to store the
operating configuration, routing tables, queues and caches. Shared memory stores incoming and outgoing packets. PC Wholesale stocks both DRAM and
Flash memory upgrades for Cisco 2500 series routers.
